As filed

Compared to last week, steer calves sold 5.00-10.00 higher and yearlings traded mostly steady with spots 5.00 higher. Heifers sold steady. Demand was moderate to good, best for 450-650 lb steer calves. A few more buyers in the seats than normal made for an active market. Supply was moderate and included everything from fleshy un-weaned calves to long weaned yearlings. Overall the quality was good with some fancy calves and attractive yearlings offered. Slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher.
