As filed

Compared to last weeks light test, more quality groups of weaned calves were offered this week and those under 500 lbs sold with a firm to higher undertone while the mid-weight steers from 500-700 lbs traded steady to 5.00 higher and the loads of yearling steers offered have had no recent comparable sales for a trend. Heifer calves sold steady and the loads of yearlings sold mostly 5.00 higher. Demand was good for the yearlings and higher quality weaned calves, but those short weaned or that didn't quite match in quality found lighter demand. Supply was moderate. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00 lower, bulls steady.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
