As filed

Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher except for a few stick out packages of heifer calves and some thin steers selling with a higher undertone. The local cash market held up well despite a few days of shaky cattle futures. Demand was good to very good for a moderate supply. The majority of the feeder offering was made up of new crop calves with just a few consignments of hard weaned yearlings. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady.
