Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, Feeder steer weights not well tested for comparison but trending higher with 750-800lbs 9.00 higher. Feeder heifers also not well tested in all weights but trended mostly higher. 750-800lbs 2.00 lower, 800-950lb 3.00 to 6.00 higher. Most calves sold were unweaned which created wide price spreads causing these calves to be sold at the bottom of the price range. Many long strings of yearling heifers in today's offerings. Good buyer demand for yearling steers and heifers. Flesh condition light to moderate.
