Compared to last week: Steers 500 to 600 lbs. 5.00 to 10.00 higher, Steers 600 to 700 lbs. steady, Steers 700 to 800 lbs. 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Heifers 500 to 600 lbs. 10.00 to 15.00 higher, Heifers 600 to 700 lbs. 10.00 lower, Heifers over 700 lbs. steady. The buyer demand continues to be very good. The market was active from start to finish the buyers have a lot of orders. The cattle are carrying a moderate flesh condition, the weaned calves are not being pushed to hard by the producer. The February 2025 CME Live cattle closed the day at 204.50 and the August 2025 CME Live cattle closed at 192.850 the difference in the boards does not seem to be affecting the lighter weight feeder cattle price at Stockmen's.
