The demand was very good even with the CME cattle boards moving lower on tariff fears. The market was active from start to finish, had a few new buyers at the sale filling orders. The feeder cattle were carrying a bit more flesh then past sales, no cattle in a over fleshy condition. The sale had a large offering of heifer feeder cattle, a good number of replacement heifers in the offering. The eastern part of North Dakota received moisture this week. The Dickinson, ND area received just a trace. The extreme drought condition is getting serious the long term forecast is dry. Next week at Stockmen's will be a feeder cattle special along with bred cows.
