Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week, steers under 450 trended lower, and 450 - 650 lbs were steady - 9.00 higher. Heifers were 7.00 - 15.00 higher up to 500 lbs. Weights over 500 lbs - 650 were 4.00 - 17.00 lower. Demand today was moderate to good, with buyers being selective on their buying. The futures market and sick cattle is not helping the market.
