Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to two weeks ago steer and heifer calves sold 4.00-6.00 lower. Yearling weight steers sold unevenly steady. No comparison from two weeks ago on yearling heifers. Moderate demand on cold December day. Wintery weather along with slick roads blew in the trade area midday and buyers pulled back on their buy orders. Most of the lower price ranges came after midday.
