Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Steer calves 4.00-8.00 lower. No comparison on feeders. Heifer calves 9.00-12.00 lower. A winter storm with snow and colder temperatures limiting receipts due to road conditions and muddy conditions in pens and pastures reducing demand and participation. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 higher, though quality more attractive, bulls 1.00 lower on very limited receipts. Trade and demand moderate.
