Compared to last week: Feeder steers were mixed. Steers under 800 lbs sold 1.00-3.00 lower; over 800 lbs steady to 2.00 higher. Steer calves 1.00-4.00 lower. Feeder heifers and heifer calves steady to 2.00 lower. Demand moderate for all classes but improved some from earlier in the day. Quality plain to average. Heavy amounts of rain fell across the trade area bringing much needed relief to pastures.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
