No other comparisons available. A large run of cattle for todays auction. Plenty of fall calves, weaned or unweaned offered mostly in part loads. Multiple consignments of reputation replacement heifers were well received. Bigger background cattle destined for the finishing yard were in very good demand with multiple consignments offered in multiple loads, up to 9 loads in the same sort. Fleshed ranged from light fleshed cattle that had been turned out on pasture to moderate plus coming out of a grow yard. A very active market on all classes of cattle with internet buyers competing with the order byers and farmer feeders that were in attendance. Best demand is on the light fleshed cattle suitable for summer grazing operations The cash market on all classes of cattle continues its upward trajectory. Next feeder sale is scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025.
