Compared to last week: steer calves 500 to 550 lbs mostly steady, 551 to 650 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Yearling steers 900 to 950 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Heifer calves 500 to 600 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 lower, 601 to 650 lbs mostly steady. Other weight classes of steers and heifers not well compared. Moderate to good demand for today's yearling offering consisting of one long string and a couple of loads of steers. Quality on yearlings mostly plain to average and flesh mostly moderate plus. A lighter calf offering than last week consisting mostly of packages and just a few loads. Quality on calves varied, from plain to attractive. Mostly light to moderate flesh on the calves with some moderate plus flesh at times. A moderate to active market seen for today's offering. No sale next week due to Thanksgiving, next feeder cattle sale is Friday, December 6.
