Compared to last week: best test on steers 550 to 650 lbs mostly steady. Heifers not well compared today. Good demand for today's offering of many packages and several loads of mostly home raised, long time weaned cattle in today's offering. Quality varied, from plain to attractive, with slightly less quality overall than last week. Flesh mostly moderate to moderate plus today. Some tag on the offering as the past weekend saw temps warm enough to thaw lots and make some muddy conditions. A moderate to active market with cattle suitable for grass seeing the most activity. Next feeder cattle sale is next Friday, February 14.
