Compared to last week: best test on steers 550 to 750 lbs mostly steady. Best test on heifers 550 to 600 lbs mostly steady with other weight classes of heifers not well compared. Good to very good demand again this week for cattle suitable for grass programs, moderate to good demand for feeding type cattle depending mostly on flesh condition. Quality varied more this week, but mostly average to attractive. Flesh varied from light to some heavy flesh at times. A moderate to active market for today's offering. Winter weather is impacting travel in some areas. Trucks have been difficult to find this week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, January 21.
