As filed

Compared to last week: best test on steers 800 to 850 lbs mostly steady, 851 to 950 lbs 1.00 to 4.00 lower. Best comparison on heifers 800 to 850 lbs mostly steady. Demand for today's offering moderate to good depending on quality, which varied quite a bit today. Several strings, loads, and many packages, including quite a few late summer and fall calves, on offer. Flesh varied, from light to moderate plus with some heavy flesh at times. Some cattle carried mud today as pens are far from dry. Market was mostly active on today's offering with mainly order buyers attending, farmers and producers are finally getting into the field. The area is getting some sun and drying weather this week, a welcome change. Next feeder cattle sale is next Wednesday, June 5.
