As filed

A much lighter offering than two weeks ago so an accurate trend can not be established, lower undertones noted on both steers and heifers. Moderate to good demand for today's yearling offering featuring mostly packages and a handful of loads. Quality varied, from plain to attractive. Most cattle in moderate to moderate plus flesh with some coming off grass, mostly tested open heifers. A couple of packages of spring calves offered and met with moderate demand. Moderate market activity today with a smaller than normal crowd of buyers. A few cancellations today due to the rain the area received over the weekend into Monday, some places reported over four inches. Next feeder cattle sale is next Wednesday, September 18.
