As filed

Compared to last week: best test on steers 800 to 950 lbs and 1000 to 1050 lbs 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Best test on heifers 850 to 900 lbs and 950 to 1000 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Good to very good demand for yearlings today. Many packages in today's yearling offering as well as several strings and many loads. Slightly more flesh than last week with more moderate to moderate plus flesh. Many yearlings off grass again today. Light to moderate demand for a few packages of spring calves offered today. These calves were mostly off the cow with varied shots, no consignment had full preconditioning. Active market activity on yearlings and light to moderate activity on calves. Dismal weather continues to plague the area and the lack of any sun and warm temperatures has kept yards and fields too wet to allow any harvesting or similar work. In some areas, there is still snow on the ground from the storm last week. Next feeder cattle sale is next Wednesday, October 23.
