Compared to last week: steers 600 to 800 lbs mostly steady, 801 to 850 lbs and 901 to 950 lbs 2.00 to 4.00 higher, 851 to 900 lbs 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Heifers 600 to 850 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Another large offering of feeder cattle today including a long string of 1400 head of backgrounded Char cross heifers as well as many packages and loads of home raised cattle. Grass type cattle continue to see very good demand, good to very good demand for feeding type cattle and replacement quality heifers. Varied flesh today, from light to heavy. Quality mostly average to attractive, slightly less attractive quality overall than last week. Cleaner hides this week as things have froze up again for a few days. An active market seen for the offering. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, March 16.
