Compared to last week: best test on steers 850 to 950 lbs mostly steady, 1000 to 1100 lbs 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Best test on heifers 600 to 650 lbs and 700 to 750 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher with instances up to 9.00 higher on 600 to 650 lbs. Good to very good demand for today's offering of several strings and many loads and packages. Cattle which can go to grass see very good demand, grass conditions look very promising at this point. Quality and flesh similar to last week, varied quality from plain to attractive and flesh ranging from light to some heavy flesh at times. Some tag on the cattle again this week as more rain has created very muddy lot conditions. A couple consignments of replacement heifers in town due to some flooded pastures. An active market seen for this offering. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, May 11.
