Compared to last week: A steady to higher undertone was noted on steers up to 900 lbs. Steers 900-1000 lbs. were steady to 2.00 higher, steers 1000 lbs. and up had a higher undertone. A higher undertone was noted on heifers up to 800 lbs. heifers 800-1000 lbs. were steady to 4.00 higher. Demand was really good on heavier weights. Many large load lots today in heavy feeders. The next feeder cattle auction will be May 25th, expecting 2500-3000 head of feeders, starting at 9:00 am.
