Compared to last week: steer and heifer calves mostly steady. Good demand for this offering of many packages and quite a few loads of average to attractive quality calves. Flesh mostly light to moderate today. A few weaned package available, weaned from 30 to 60 days, but most of the calves off the cow. Most had full preconditioning but a few packages with just a 7 way shot were discounted at times. Cold weather this week has firmed things up and the calves were very clean and open haired. An active market for this large offering. This is the last feeder cattle sale of 2019, the next feeder cattle sale is January 9, 2020. Bred cattle next Tuesday, December 17. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
