As filed

Different weight classes today than two weeks ago so an accurate price trend can not be developed. About 1400 of today's receipts were feeder cattle which sold in packages and loads. Finishing type cattle were met with moderate to good demand depending on flesh condition. Grass type cattle met with good demand. Quality today mostly average to attractive and flesh varied, but mostly moderate to moderate plus with some heavy flesh. A moderate to active market with less buyers and consignors attending the auction today. Quite a few cancellations today due to blizzard conditions yesterday and very cold temps and wind chills yesterday and today. Most of these cattle moved to next week's sale. Next feeder cattle sale is next Thursday, February 20, expecting 5000 head of feeders.
