Compared to last week Feeder Steers 400 to 500 Steady to 5.00 lower, 500 to 650 10.00 to 15.00 lower, Feeder Heifers 450 to 500 10.00 higher, 500 to 600 15.00 to 20.00 lower. Good Demand in the seats and Low Demand on the Internet for Several Load Lots, Part Loads and Packages which sold on a Moderate to Active Market. Lots of movement in the Cattle Futures have buyers apprehensive but not sidelined. Nearly the Entire Offering was Home Raised with Spring and Fall Vaccinations and carried Light to Moderate Flesh. Much of the Offering was straight off the Cow with the exception of 2 Consignments of Spring Calves that have been weaned since August. Another round of moisture yesterday resulted in more calves displaying mud and tagg as well as several thousand calves postponing to a later sale. The Next Sale is November 4th: Weighup Cow Special; November 7th: Special Stock Cow and Bred Heifer Sale; November 10th: All Breeds Calf Sale, Expecting 8,000 Head.
