Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 5.00 higher, except 700 lbs - 750 lbs 8.00 to 11.00 higher, 750 lbs - 800 lbs 3.00 to 6.00 lower, 1000 lbs - 1050 lbs 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady to 5.00 higher, except 750 lbs - 800 lbs 1.00 to 4.00 lower, 800 lbs - 850 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Demand for this large offering of eye appealing cattle was good. We are starting to see less light weight cattle and several loads of yearlings. Several farmer buyers bidding today. CME Feeder Cattle closed higher, while corn plunged lower. Slaughter cows steady. Slaughter bulls steady.
