Anniversary Special BBQ Feeder Cattle Sale! Compared to the sale last week: Limited number of light steers both weeks. No comparison. Steers 850 lbs 4.00-8.00 lower, 900 lbs 2.00-5.00 higher, 950 lbs 4.00 higher with big consignment bringing 11.00 higher. Heifers 750 lbs 4.00 higher, 800 lbs steady to 1.00 higher, 850 lbs 5.00-7.00 higher, 950 lbs 2.00-4.00 higher. Most of the sale consisted of load lots and half loads. A majority of those consignments being yearling cattle. Several smaller strings of mostly light heifers in the offering also. Big crowd in the arena today. Good demand throughout the sale, especially on the load lots. Slaughter cows: Breaker and Boner cows steady. Lean cows steady to 2.00 higher. Too light a test on bulls today. No comparison.
