As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter steers 4.00 to 5.00 lower, heifers 4.00 to 8.00 lower. Light demand for this large offering of slaughter cattle, many full loads of high grading steers and heifers offered. Few packer buyers participated this week. Weighing condition average to full, hides dirty to very dirty. Estimated dressed cost looked to

be 192.00-196.00. Another down day in the futures markets has packer buyers intent on buying cattle at lower money. Two way cattle buyers were inactive. 13 full loads of steers offered, 6 full loads heifers, balance small packages and part loads. Slaughter cows steady to 3.00 compared to Monday's sale, bulls sold with higher undertones. Slaughter lambs not well compared, higher undertones prevailed. Slaughter ewes very uneven, Good 2-3 ewes 12.00 to 14.00 higher, Good 3-4 steady to 2.00 higher while Utility and Cull ewes 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder lambs not well compared.
