As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter steers steady to 1.00 lower, heifers steady. Holsteins 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Demand for this large offering of eye appealing cattle was good. Several load lots of NHTC and no implant cattle offered. Most cattle hauled in over night making weigh conditions good for the buyer. The drought across the country continues to cause some pressure. The number of replacement heifers held back this year is down significantly. This could make for interesting watching in the coming months. Estimated dressed cost 228.23 - 233.06. CME Live Cattle and corn both closed lower. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady.

Traditional slaughter weight lambs 15.00 to 20.00 higher. Demand for this nice offering was good. Slaughter ewes Good 2-3 and Utility 7.00 to 11.00 higher, Good 4-5 steady to 2.00 higher.
