As filed

No sale last week, due to the Independence Day holiday. Compared to the sale two weeks ago; choice slaughter steers 5.00 higher. Choice slaughter heifers 4.00-5.00 higher. Dairy steers steady to 1.00 higher with limited numbers. Consignments included several load lots, along with plenty of smaller packages. Large offering of dairy beef cattle today. The arena was crowded and a constant line of trailers ready to unload was the norm most of the day. Demand was good throughout the sale. Slaughter cows: Breaker cows 1.00-2.00 higher. Boner cows steady to 1.00 higher. Lean cows 2.00 lower. Bulls steady to 1.00 higher.

Slaughter lambs: Lambs 60 lbs 38.00 higher, 80 lbs 10.00 higher, 90 lbs steady to 4.00 higher. Lambs 100 lbs 3.00-9.00 lower, 120-140 lbs mostly 10.00-14.00 lower. BIG sheep and goat sale with 5545 head going through the ring today!
