As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers 3.00 to 5.00 lower in a narrow comparison. Moderate demand for steers and heifers this week, packer buyers not near as active as they have been, some inactive. 2 full loads of steers, 1 full load of heifers, balance part loads and stock trailer loads. Weighing condition wasn't as attractive this week as cattle looked more full. Fewer of those really heavy cattle in the offering.

Slaughter lambs under 100 lbs mostly steady, over 100 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder lambs sold with higher undertones. Slaughter ewes mostly steady. Good demand for both traditional weight slaughter lambs and for the non-traditional weights. Very good demand for feeder lambs. Moderate to good demand for slaughter ewes. Another big offering of slaughter lambs, including a full semi-load of lambs weighing 144, as well as a couple of half loads.
