As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers steady to 2.00 lower. Light to moderate for this nice offering of hard fed, high quality grading steers and heifers. The market was less active this week. Weighing condition fair overall as there were a lot of cattle hauled in overnight. 6 full loads of steers, balance part loads and stock trailer loads.

Slaughter lambs mostly steady. Slaughter ewes 10.00 to 15.00 higher. Moderate to good demand for slaughter lambs, improved demand for those non-traditional weight slaughter lambs. Very good demand for slaughter ewes as there were many buyers on the seats actively bidding. Good demand for the light fleshed lambs suitable for feeding.
