Compared to last week: Feeder Steers sold 5.00 - 7.00 higher. Heifers in most weights sold mostly steady, with the exception of 850 - 900 lbs, selling 8.00 lower. Very good demand for this nice offering of yearling steers and heifers, fresh off grass, with several full loads and large lots offered making it possible for buyers to fill some loads with a single source. The market was active, with buyers in the seats and on the internet, vying for the attractive, light conditioned cattle. Several of the heifers consigned with the larger lots and several of the smaller lots were spayed, with the rest tested open.
