Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week: Feeder steers weighing 500-650 lbs sold 5.00 to 15.00 higher on a very thin test, while steers weighing 750-850 lbs sold steady to 15.00 higher on a light test. Feeder heifers weighing 650-800 lbs sold 5.50 to 19.50 higher. All other weight ranges of heifers were too thinly tested for an accurate market trend. In slaughter cattle, average dressing cows sold 1.75 to 13.50 higher, while average dressing slaughter bulls sold 6.00 lower. No other classes of cattle had enough comparisons for a market test when compared to last week. The next available report will occur as receipts warrant.
