Larger offering than last week by near 200 head with strong demand for most classes, especially lighter #1 steers. #1 Steers sold steady to $3-$9 per cwt higher, 400 weight steers stronger by $15-$19 compared to last. #1 Heifers sold steady to $3-$6 per cwt higher with 600 weight stronger by $12 per cwt, 400-500 weight softening somewhat. No test on Feeder Bulls but ample demand for the offering. Large graded groups of #1 muscling feeders reported as either Large 1 or Medium 1, small groups and singles that graded #1 on report under Medium and Large 1. Wetter than average conditions in central West Virginia with good water and pasture reported.
