Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last week Not enough calves and feeders for an adequate market comparison. Feeding cows traded 2.00 to 3.00 lower and slaughter cows traded 3.00 to 4.00 higher on comparable trades. Demand was good for all reported classes of cattle. Hot dry weather continues across majority of the state. This week, by the drought monitor a most of WY is in a moderate drought. Hay producers have been very busying running water on fields to aid hay growth. Hay producers noted that local buying interest on hay has been very good. On a normal year, majority of the small and large square bales are shipped out of the region.
