Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to two weeks ago; Yearling steers and heifers traded unevenly steady on a limited test. Steer calves under 600 lbs sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Steer calves over 600 lbs traded 4.00 to 6.00 higher with a few instances of 8.00 higher. Heifer calves traded 3.00 to 7.00 higher. A very active market with a nice selection of all classes of feeder cattle.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
