Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to two weeks ago, on a good run of cows and bulls; slaughter cows 2.00-5.00 higher, slaughter bulls 1.00-3.00 higher with mostly feeder cows return to feed or young and heiferettes going back to grass. Not enough feeder calves for a good market test. Demand good. One young calf 250 lbs brought $800.00 per head. Summer schedule; next sale will be June 25 th.
