Last feeder sale was two weeks ago, limited comparisons available: Heifers from 800 lbs to 899 lbs were mostly steady to 2.00 higher, heifers from 900 lbs to 999 lbs were generally 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Good demand for today's yearlings that consisted of several strings off grass and a number of tested open replacement heifers. Better demand for cattle off grass when compared to those coming out of a grow yard. Flesh condition ranged from light fleshed to moderate flesh conditions. Several consignments of spring calves that were full vaccinated, most were right off the cow, saw a moderate demand. A fairly active market on all classes today with mostly order buyers in the seats competing with buyers on the internet. Dry conditions continue to prevail in most of the local area. Next yearling, spring and fall calf sale is Friday, September 30, 2022. It will be the 75th Anniversary sale - Free Beef BBQ - everyone invited.
