As filed

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded mostly steady on limited comparable sales. Not enough comparable sales on steer and heifer calves for market trend, but a sharply higher undertone was noted. Trading activity was active on very good buyer demand, especially on calves suitable for grazing. Slaughter cows and bulls traded mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Some much needed rain has moved across the trading region over the past week, with more rain in the forecast for the weekend.
