Stock cows or feeding cows sold 2.00 higher. Bred cows and pairs sold mostly steady. Demand was moderate to good. Even though some areas of Wyoming has received rain in the last few weeks many ranchers continue to liquidate bred cows and pairs. Roughly twice and many slaughter and replacement cattle sold this week compared to same week last year. If substantial rain doesn't come along in a large area pairs will continue to come to town and yearling cattle may be sold earlier than normal.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
