Compared to last week, not enough comparable offerings of steers for a market comparison. Feeder heifers sold unevenly steady. Slaughter, feeding cows and slaughter bulls sold steady to 1.00 lower. Bulk of the cow trade went back to the feedlots. Demand was moderate to good. Some fresh bawlers continue to hit the market several week's earlier than in a normal non-drought year. Selling weight would also be lighter on several of the bawlers, but for this time of year they would be on course for the time of year. Spotty rain showers in some areas of the state. Hay producers are working on last cutting of alfalfa with some trying to bale cane, millet or other roughages.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
