As filed

Compared to last week: No comparable feeder steers from the previous week to test trends. Feeder heifers not tested in the Medium and Large #1 category, but a higher undertone is noted as plainer types this week selling near steady with top grading cattle last week. Demand is good for light receipts. The Oklahoma Panhandle received some much needed rains early on in the week and more widespread rains are forecasted for late in the week. Wheat planting is now just above the halfway point across the state of Oklahoma. Pasture and range conditions, though are showing just less than 50 percent in poor to very poor conditions.

Weights are USDA’s estimates — these cattle had not been weighed when they sold. Delivery months differ between lots; a price for one month is not a price for another. Head is summed from the lots as reported.
