As filed

Compared to the last sale 04/30/2020: Feeder steers 3.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers sold 8.00-10.00 higher. Demand improved and good. Steer and heifer calves not well tested. Seller interest has improved some to moderate to good but some sellers still resisting the current market and deciding not to sell. Cattle futures continues the up and down ride. Slaughter cattle prices have improved and slaughter rates are slowly increasing. Bulk of the trades were for immediate delivery and just into June, as many remain unsure of the future. Prices FOB based on net weights after a 2-3 percent pencil shrink or equivalent, with a 4-8 cent slide on yearlings and 8-12 cent slide on calves. Current deliveries are cattle that will deliver up to 14 days from the last sale day of the video. Current delivery is through May 28, 2020. Delivery's are current to September 2020.

Source: USDA AMS · Oklahoma City, OK. Prices are as filed, F.O.B. at origin, with the buyer taking freight — they are not comparable to a spot ring price and never enter a barn average. Weights are USDA’s estimates — these cattle had not been weighed when they sold. Delivery months differ between lots; a price for one month is not a price for another. Head is summed from the lots as reported.
