As filed

Compared to the last sale two weeks ago: Feeder steers and heifers sold sharply higher with instances of 6.00-8.00 higher. Demand moderate to good. Steer and heifer calves were to lightly tested on a Current Basis for a trend. Heavy supply of cattle offered out of the Southeastern region for out front delivery was on offer. Widespread rainfall across much of the country has caused muddy pen conditions.

Source: USDA AMS · Oklahoma City, OK. Prices are as filed, F.O.B. at origin, with the buyer taking freight — they are not comparable to a spot ring price and never enter a barn average. Weights are USDA’s estimates — these cattle had not been weighed when they sold. Delivery months differ between lots; a price for one month is not a price for another. Head is summed from the lots as reported.
