As filed

Compared to the last sale 11/19/20: Bulk of the comparable trades occurred in the South Central states. Feeder steers sold 3.00-4.00 lower. Feeder heifers 3.00-6.00 higher. Calf trades were unevenly steady. Demand moderate to good for feeder cattle; mostly good for calves as producers in wheat country are currently either turning cattle out or looking to do so. Slaughter cattle trade has slowly moved higher as Boxed Beef prices moved sharply higher. Beef prices though, have seemed to plateaued and the last few days have closed in the red. Supply included 57 percent from the South Central; 11 percent North Central; 14 percent South East; 17 percent West, <1 percent North East and <1 Mexican Origin. Current deliveries are cattle that will deliver up to 14 days from the last sale day of the video. Current delivery is through December 17, 2020.Deliveries are current thru February 2021. Next video sale will be on Thursday 12/17/2020.

Source: USDA AMS · Oklahoma City, OK. Prices are as filed, F.O.B. at origin, with the buyer taking freight — they are not comparable to a spot ring price and never enter a barn average. Weights are USDA’s estimates — these cattle had not been weighed when they sold. Delivery months differ between lots; a price for one month is not a price for another. Head is summed from the lots as reported.
