Compared to the last sale 02/11/2021: Bulk of the sale was feeder cattle located in the south and the majority of these cattle fell just out of current delivery or were set to deliver early spring. LImited numbers of steers were steady. Few heifers sold with a strong underdone.

Demand moderate to good with best demand for value added feeder cattle to deliver April to May. Demand good for the limited numbers of calves and grass accounts were active on thin fleshed cattle. Temperatures have finally moved back to a more normal for most of the country. Supply included 63 percent from the South Central; 27 percent North Central; 2 percent South East; 7 percent West; 1 percent North East. Current deliveries are cattle that will deliver up to 14 days from the last sale day of the video. Current delivery is up to and including March 11, 2021. Deliveries are current thru October 2021. The next video sale is Thursday March 11, 2021.

Source: USDA AMS · Oklahoma City, OK. Prices are as filed, F.O.B. at origin, with the buyer taking freight — they are not comparable to a spot ring price and never enter a barn average. Weights are USDA’s estimates — these cattle had not been weighed when they sold. Delivery months differ between lots; a price for one month is not a price for another. Head is summed from the lots as reported.
