As filed

Compared to the last sale on 04/07-08/22: Feeder steers and heifers in the Southwest and the Southeast region sold mostly 4.00-8.00 higher. Rebounds on the positive both on the CME Feeder and Live cattle contracts over the past two week's has increased demand and buyer interest. Much of the drought ridden southern plains has cooler than normal temperatures and rain in the forecast over the upcoming weekend. Supply included 58 percent South Central; 8 percent North Central; 24 percent South East; 7 percent West and 3 percent North East. Current deliveries are cattle that will deliver 14 days from the date of the sale and are up to and including May 05, 2022. Deliveries are current thru September 2022.

Source: USDA AMS · Oklahoma City, OK. Prices are as filed, F.O.B. at origin, with the buyer taking freight — they are not comparable to a spot ring price and never enter a barn average. Weights are USDA’s estimates — these cattle had not been weighed when they sold. Delivery months differ between lots; a price for one month is not a price for another. Head is summed from the lots as reported.
