As filed

Compared to the last sale on 06/02/22: Feeder steers and heifers were lightly tested in most regions last sale; however, trades in the South Central region sold sharply higher with instances of 10.00-15.00 higher. Feeder heifers in all other regions were mostly for out-front delivery last sale. Bulk of the offering was in the South Central region again for this sale. Grazing cattle traded steady to 5.00 higher as much of the central part of the country has received needed moisture sparking interest on cattle suitable for grazing. Supply included 51 percent South Central; 37 percent North Central; 9 percent South East; 4 percent West and 1 percent North East. Current deliveries are cattle that will deliver 14 days from the date of the sale and are up to and including June 30, 2022. Deliveries are current thru March, 2023.

Source: USDA AMS · Oklahoma City, OK. Prices are as filed, F.O.B. at origin, with the buyer taking freight — they are not comparable to a spot ring price and never enter a barn average. Weights are USDA’s estimates — these cattle had not been weighed when they sold. Delivery months differ between lots; a price for one month is not a price for another. Head is summed from the lots as reported.
