Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Based on limited comparisons with last week, feeder steers 2.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady. Demand moderate. Supply light. The market got some help Tuesday as feeder futures gained back around 250 points of Mondays limit down losses. Coronavirus continues to dominate the news and market action with broad range of opinion as to worldwide health and economic impact. Fundamentally beef demand remains strong although with some potential weakness seen in Tuesdays cutout values.
