Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Too few comparisons with last week to establish a trend on steers although the undertone on weights under 450 lbs was higher and undertone over 650 lbs was lower. Feeder heifers steady to 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady. Demand moderate to good. Supply moderate. The heavier cattle have eased back from prices seen 2-3 weeks ago partly due to continuing concerns about elevated carcass weights and the large number of cattle currently on feed.
