Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to the sale two weeks ago, feeder steers and heifers 7.00-15.00 higher with several 600 lb steers 20.00 higher. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 lower. Demand very good.. Supply heavy. Good buyer attendance for a nice quality offering. Optimism abounds in feeder auctions so far this week as buyers factor in a shrinking cattle inventory and the potential upside of current purchases.
